This is the least Xuechang Sun solid wood bass I am
aware of. For entry level it is extremely impressive to say the
least. The woodworking execution appears flawless to me. The quality of
the material is extraordinary. When I did the set-up I hand-planed the
fingerboard and found the quality of the Ebony to be superior as well.
I hand fit the bridge as well, and at the moment of photographing it I
have she is outfitted with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Medium tension
strings. If you prefer a different string, I'll fit them at no charge,
but these seem quite good to me. My price is $5200 fob my shop in Petaluma.
